North Leeds Leopards Go ‘ON THE ROAD’

NORTH LEEDS LEOPARDS Junior rugby league club face their first real ‘away day’ on Saturday 20th August, when some of their under 10s travel to London to face thriving Medway Dragons (kick off 2pm

The match will be played on the outside pitch at the Stoop prior to the Engage Super League clash between Harlequins RL and Leeds Rhinos.

Club secretary Madeleine Hegarty commented, “We are really looking forward to going ‘on the road’ together, it is a significant part of our development as a club.”

“These are exciting times for us,” the driving-force behind the Leopard’s rise continued. “We have staged our first home game, membership continues to increase with up to five age groups training at Moortown Social Club and we have secured change of use of the pitch there for rugby league, as opposed to football, for when we join a league next summer.”
