TESTIMONIALS FOR OUR WORK IN SCHOOLS

Here is some of the feedback we have received about our Leeds Rhinos Foundation staff following the work they have delivered in primary and secondary schools across the city:

“One of the best coaches we have had!”

- Weetwood Primary

Reach Primary School would like to say a huge thank you to all staff involved in making our afternoon at Emerald Headingley so amazing.

The kids have not stopped talking about it; we had an amazing time. Thanks again for a wonderful experience!

- Mrs S Mabbott, Reach Primary

“Fabulous coach – motivational, professional and shares the school’s aspirations for our children. An asset to the Rhinos as their representative.”

- Crossgates Primary

“Wish we could continue the sessions further. Children enjoyed every minute.”

- St Nicholas' Catholic Primary

“Year 5 were absolutely buzzing when they arrived back at school yesterday, couldn’t wait to tell everyone about their brilliant afternoon! They will be feeding back to the whole school in assembly on Friday.

Thanks again for all the wonderful opportunities the children get as part of the Foundation partnership, it really does make such a difference to their learning experiences and personal development. Many thanks to you all!

- Mrs McDonagh-Smith, Holy Rosary & St Anne's Catholic Primary School

We would like to wish a huge thank you to the Leeds Rhinos Foundation team and Ronnie the Rhino for coming to our school to promote the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle. Our children loved learning about this important topic and finding out about how the Leeds Rhinos first team players keep themselves healthy too!

- Mrs Hitchen, Greenhill Primary School

Our Active Schools Cluster Locality Co-ordinator recruited and managed for us by Leeds Rhinos Foundation has extended and enhanced the PE and Sports provision at Harehills Primary School; a great use of our Sports premium money.

We have been delighted with the high calibre of the co-ordinators who bring with them experience, creativity and never-ending enthusiasm for PE and sport; making them perfect role models. Our motto is learn, laugh and love and we enjoy doing that with Leeds Rhinos Foundation.

- Mrs J Summerfield Head teacher Harehills Primary School

“Our long term partnership with Leeds Rhinos is one of the most effective relationships that our school has entered into. The staff are professional, approachable, very knowledgeable and have the best interests of our children at heart.

They give clear explanations, have high expectations of behaviour and actively encourage a cooperative and unified team approach. Maintaining this very productive and very effective partnership is something at the top of our list at every budget meeting.

Children love the link with professional sport and staff love the opportunity for quality CPD.               Go Rhinos!”
