Aspire Tag Rugby Festival returns to AMT Headingley Stadium

The Aspire CBS Tag Rugby Festival made a much-anticipated return to AMT Headingley Stadium last week, bringing together over 100 participants, including customers, volunteers and supporters.

This event, a highlight in the community sports calendar, is organised and hosted by the Leeds Rhinos Foundation.

The festival is run in partnership with Aspire CBS, a remarkable staff-owned, not-for-profit social enterprise with charitable status that provides essential care and support services to adults with learning disabilities.

The festival aims to promote inclusivity and physical activity among individuals with learning disabilities, offering them a platform to engage in sports, build confidence and enjoy a sense of community.

Leeds Rhinos partners, Chadwick Lawrence, played a pivotal role in the event’s success, with many of their staff volunteering their time to come along and join in the fun. Their involvement underscores the strong community ties and the commitment of local businesses to support such meaningful initiatives.

Adding to the excitement, the participants had the opportunity to interact with Rhinos legend, Jamie Jones-Buchanan, and our very own Ronnie the Rhino!

Overall, the return of the Aspire Tag Rugby Festival to AMT Headingley Stadium was a resounding success, showcasing the power of sport to bring people together and create lasting positive impacts in the community.
