Physical Activity for people with Parkinson’s Disease

In September, we will begin catered physical activity sessions for people affected by Parkinson’s Disease. In partnership with Parkinson’s UK, Headingley Stadium will host weekly meetings for people to improve and maintain their physical activity levels through accessible, fun and engaging rugby themed sessions. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in a social opportunity and a refreshment in the Keith Howard Community Hub after their session.

The 18-week programme will feed into our regular weekly physical activity maintenance sessions held both at Headingley Stadium and Bartercard Training Complex.
