RAINBOW DEMENTIA DAY SERVICE

The Rainbow Care Group provides dementia day care services across North and West Yorkshire including specialist sports service day care groups. They run their groups in peaceful community settings to ensure that their days do not feel clinical or institutional. Through their services they encourage social interaction, whilst providing cognitive stimulation through meaningful activities. Their mission is to promote dignity and independence whilst striving to provide individualised, person-centred care.

Specialist, sports-focused provision will be provided every Wednesday in the Leeds Rhinos Foundation Community Hub, with participants engaging in activities and conversations with fellow sport enthusiasts, whilst being invited to attend a Leeds Rhinos home match to relive their Rugby League memories.
