The Rhinestones Junior Dance Academy was set up in 2009 by the Leeds Rhinos Dance Team Captain, Nicola Booth.

Since its humble beginnings it has grown from strength to strength, with classes taking place weekly during term time.

ABOUT RHINESTONES

The aim of the Rhinestones has always been to give everyone the opportunity to access great dance classes at an affordable price, offering cheer, street and break dance training for young people in the city aged 4-18.

All of our dance coaches have numerous years of teaching experience, and are also fully DBS checked and insured.

THE RHINESTONES JUNIOR DANCE ACADEMY

Join the Rhinestones crew to learn the coolest moves, meet new friends and get the opportunity to experience the thrill of performing in front of thousands of Rhinos fans at Emerald Headingley Stadium on matchdays and the chance to star in our annual dance show.

Rhinestones offers individuals the chance to develop dance skills with the focus on cheer and street dance and classes are taught by our Dance Development Officer Nicola Booth.

All you need is lots of enthusiasm, a water bottle and appropriate clothing and footwear for dancing.

Classes are weekly and during term time only and Rhinestones branded uniform is available to purchase.

Access to our Elite Rhinestones Competitions and Display Team is also available on invitation only basis.

AGE GROUPINGS:

  • Minis – 4 – 7
  • Juniors – 8 – 10
  • Youths – 11 – 13
  • Seniors – 14+

CLASS PRICES:

To register as an official Rhinestones dancer costs £15.  Members will receive their first Rhinestones t-shirt withing this cost.

Classes cost £3.50 per class but must be paid for on a termly basis. For example, a 6-week term will cost £21.

Fees for any extra rehearsals will vary depending on length.

  • Hoodies £18-20 (depending on size)
  • Shorts £17
