Great Skills at the Inaugural Ambassadors Festival

With a perfect summers day booked 19 teams from 9 amateur clubs attended the inaugural Leeds clubs ambassadors festival of rugby league in association with Leeds rugby foundation.

Great skills were on show from players as young as 6 to 11 and fair play evident throughout the day. Players, coaches, parents and volunteers worked together and took ownership to make the day a successful and enjoyable one.

Great work from volunteers running stalls, selling raffle tickets organisation of the rugby tournament and general help enabled the event to run smoothly.

Many thanks to Leeds rugby for providing great prizes for the raffle, active workwear for the weekend away prize, for providing the toilets along with the support of Noel and family for making them happen, couldn't have done without them, warburtons for providing the mountain bike, hungry hogroast for their donation, frankies ice cream for their donation, communisis for printing and finally the amateur rugby league clubs who made it happen.

This will be just the beginning for this event, roll on next year.

As I always say, there was only one winner today and everyday, rugby league.
