We are delighted to announce that our Junior Indoor Touch Festivals will take place every Saturday throughout February!
Leeds Rhinos Foundation has offered Indoor Touch Rugby competitions throughout the winter months to ambassador clubs as part of the charity’s Rugby League Development Plan.
The small-sided format of matches helps players to improve key elements of their game, such as speed, agility, teamwork, communication and ball handling.
This programme is part of a wider initiative to improve standards in the game by offering children more opportunities to play, especially during the winter months when conditions outside are not so suitable.
The festival dates are as follows:
Saturday 10th February – Under 9s
Saturday 17th February – Under 8s
Saturday 24th February – Under 11 Girls
Festival information
Venue: Football World Leeds, Pontefract Lane, Leeds LS9 0RA.
Time: All festivals will run from 11am-1pm – registration will take place from 10:30am.
Format: The festivals are all 5 aside – your team can have subs, ideally 2 per team.
Cost per team: £15.
Max 2 teams per club.
Age Groups are based on the 2023 season age groups.
