In anticipation of the historic home Rugby League World Cup taking place this Autumn, the RFL are running their biggest ever recruitment drive – ‘InspiredBy’ – to encourage more people to play rugby league.
As part of the ‘InspiredBy’ campaign, Leeds Rhinos Foundation will be supporting Three Lions Week, where we will be providing people of all ages and abilities the chance to get involved in rugby league through our different activities in the community.
Running between 25 Sept – 2 Oct, Three Lions Week looks to capitalise on Rugby League fever by starting the day after the men’s Grand Final and two weeks prior to the Rugby League World Cup kicking off.
Darren Higgins, Rugby League Development Manager, said, “Here at Leeds Rhinos Foundation we deliver loads of activities and sessions that cater for people of all ages and abilities.
“Rugby League is definitely a sport for everyone, so Three Lions Week is a great way to encourage people to come and give it a go with your local clubs.”
