Richmond House School a ‘class’ above the rest!

An outstanding performance from Year 3 and 4 pupils from Richmond House School ensured they took first place in the Cravendale Relay Race at Carnegie Stadium.

Richmond House School is an independent preparatory school in Far Headingley, providing excellence in education for children from 3 to 11 years. What makes Richmond House School stand out is its ability to recognise the talent in every child and to nurture and develop each individual, be it in sport, music or academic subjects. All pupils are offered the best possible opportunities.

The school was proud to achieve the top grade of ‘excellent’ grade in all ISI categories in their March 2013 inspection and is equally proud of its sporting prowess. Richmond House School pupils were delighted to have the opportunity to compete in a professional stadium in front of so many people. Year 4 pupil, Joseph, said, “It was really exciting that there were loads of Leeds Rhinos fans cheering us on. We were all really happy that we came first.”

The team of fifteen pupils from Richmond House School each received a medal and won a year’s supply of Cravendale milk for their school. Proceeds from the event went to Sports Relief.
