A position has become available for a Leeds Rhinos Foundation Community Manager that will aim to provide opportunities for participation in multi-sport and multi-skill activity in primary and secondary schools across the city of Leeds.

Trading Services with schools under the sport premium grants funding, we will ensure that schools are aware of our offers and guarantee that the delivery and staff are producing high class provision. Observing sessions, meeting senior school leaders/head teachers, attracting public/private funders or liaising with other statutory organisations will be essential to the success of the programme.
 
The central aim is to increase participation in sport of all kinds, but our offers will address issues of health, crime and social inclusion as well, often working with organisations such as:
 
•NHS
•Third Sector Organisation
•Charities
•West Yorkshire Police
•Local Authority
 
You will also work in partnership with Leeds Rhinos RLFC to support the More Fans strategy.
 
Leeds Rhinos Foundation implements a variety of community events across the year such as Children’s Day, Rhinos Challenge and Club Ambassadors Festival to name a few, which will be the responsibility of the Senior Management Team.
 
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the core school Traded Services Programme that currently includes PARTNER SCHOOLS & SPORT/PE OFFER, by supporting the Partner School officers/development officers and regular contact with schools that are agreed partners.

Review financial statements, sales and activity reports (Partner Schools, Sport Plan, Day to Remember) and other performance data, supported by accounts, to measure productivity and goal achievement. This will determine areas of improvement.

Grow the School Programme by increasing revenue whilst developing and meeting the demands of individual partnerships. Implement and develop a ‘Day to Remember’ strategy that increase revenue and promotes the foundation in a positive way.

Ensure all staff within your programme has suitable qualifications, accreditations and safeguarding in place and reviewed at Performance Management meetings.

Effective marketing and promotion of the funders by linking into local press and increased awareness.
Become part of the Senior Management Team and part of the strategic/financial planning for Leeds Rhinos Foundation.

Ensure the Foundation team are compliant with the Club’s Safeguarding policy and attend all meeting with the Safeguarding group. 

The successful candidate must have the ability to communicate at all levels, have excellent time management skills and be able to work as an individual and as part of the Leeds Rhinos Foundation team.
 
This is a full time role, which will be based at Leeds Rhinos Foundation, Leeds Rugby Academy, Bridge Road, Clarence Fields, Kirkstall, Leeds, LS5 3BW and also in the community. The salary for the role is dependent on your skills, experience and current qualifications.
