Leeds Rugby Foundation’s TryZone Project braved the bracing August weather by taking groups of families to Scarborough yesterday.
TryZone is a Big Lottery Funded after school project which had been running from Headingley Carnegie Stadium for 18 months and the trip rewarded pupils who have successfully completed projects with the project.
The rain held off for the day and a great time was had by all! Janet Sylvester Project Tutor for TryZone commented: "It was fantastic that so many families wanted to come along with us.
"Families came from all over the city and despite not knowing each other mixed really well. We all have some very happy memories from the day!’
