Limited Places Available On Leeds Rugby Foundation and Prince’s Trust ‘Get Started With Rugby’ Scheme

Leeds Rugby Foundation and Prince’s Trust held their open day yesterday ahead of the launch of ‘Get Started With Rugby’ scheme and there are still places available for the five day programme.

The scheme is aimed at 16 to 25 year olds’ living in Leeds who need help getting into work or training and thanks to the Prince’s Trust it is FREE to sign up!

The programme will run from Monday 5th August until Friday 9th August from 10am until 4pm at the Leeds Rugby Training Academy, Bridge Road, Kirkstall, with sessions also held at Stanningley Sports & Amateur League Rugby Club, The Arthur Miller Stadium, Coal Hill Drive, Leeds, LS13 1PA.

Participants who sign up to the five day scheme will:

• Work with a professional rugby club at Leeds Rugby's Training Ground
• Learn how to coach from professionals
• Work towards gaining a Rugby League Leaders Award ( RLLA)
• Meet new people
• Build your confidence
• Make a difference to your local community
• Be supported for three months following the course
• Travel cover and lunch expenses will be provided.
