Leeds Rugby Foundation’s hugely popular rugby camps are back for another year, starting with Leeds Rhinos and Leeds Carnegie Camps this Easter!
LEEDS RHINOS CAMPS:
Leeds Rhinos start with both an Activity Camp and Dance Camp ran at Wetherby High School from Monday 7th April – Friday 11th April priced at £60.
These fun-packed 5 day courses for 6-14 year olds run from 9am-3pm and are priced at just £60 per camp.
Attendees on the Activity Camp will get the chance to try out a whole range of sports including rugby league, football, basketball, netball, team games and dodgeball!
And the Rhinestones Dance camp is perfect for any young person interested in cheer dance, street dance or musical theatre dance.
Fancy being coached by Rhinos star Jamie Jones-Buchanan?
Leeds Rhinos and England star Jamie Jones-Buchanan will hold his two-day Jamie Jones-Buchanan Easter Skills Camp at his hometown club of Stanningley Rugby League club on Wednesday 16th April, from 9am-3pm for just £30.
This unique 2-day camp is aimed at 6-14 year olds are designed to help young players develop every area of their game in a fun and safe environment and you will get to meet the man himself!
All attendees will have the opportunity to meet other first team players and Ronnie the Rhino, receive a Leeds Rhinos camp T-shirt and water bottle.
You will also have an opportunity to participate in a match day pitch parade at the Leeds Rhinos v Wigan Warriors match on Friday 2nd May (match ticket provided).
LEEDS CARNEGIE CAMPS:
For all those Rugby Union players, don’t miss Leeds Carnegie Camps this Easter. They start with a two-day camp at Ripon Rugby Union Club on Monday 7th April, from 9:30am-3pm with each camp priced at £40.
This camp is aimed at 7-12 year olds and is designed to help young players develop every area of their game in a fun and safe environment.
Carnegie then follow up with another two-day camp at Aireborough Rugby Club on Wednesday 9th April before moving onto Wetherby Rugby Union Club the following week on Monday 14th April.
Attend any of the above Carnegie camps and you will spend two days with Leeds Carnegie professional coaches, have the opportunity to meet Leeds Carnegie first team players and receive a Leeds Carnegie camp T-shirt and water bottle.
You will also have an opportunity to participate in a match day pitch parade at the Leeds Carnegie v Cornish Pirates match on Saturday 26th April (match ticket provided).
And don’t miss the popular Leeds Carnegie 5-day Rugby Union Residential Camp at Barnard Castle, in the picturesque county of Durham.
This camp which runs from 4th August to 8th August and is aimed at passionate and ambitious Rugby Union boys aged between 13 and 17, who will receive professional coaching from Newcastle Falcons coaches and players as well as Leeds Rugby Foundation and Carnegie Academy coaching staff.
As well as 20 hours of top quality rugby coaching by professional coaches along with full accommodation plus meals, attendees will also get the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed programme of evening activities including swimming, touch rugby and tennis. All transport, meals and accommodation are included.
The price for the 5 day course is just £295 per attendee, but places are filling fast so interested parties are urged to book now!
