Leeds Rugby Foundation have added to their growing number of reputable Trustees with the appointment of Councillor Lucinda Yeadon.
Councillor Yeadon is currently the active serving Executive Member for Leisure and Skills in Leeds as well as the Councillor for Kirkstall Ward.
She has been an ever-present at many of this years’ Leeds Rugby Foundation events and she is thrilled to have taken up the role.
She said: “I’m absolutely delighted to have been appointed a Trustee of the Leeds Rugby Foundation. I’ve been aware of the brilliant work done by the Foundation in communities across the city for a number of years and it’s a privilege to be given the opportunity to get more involved.
"This is an exciting time for rugby in Leeds coming off the back of the Rugby League World Cup as well as the Union equivalent coming up in 2015. I’m excited about the possibilities this presents to engage people, young and old, in sport and look forward to helping the Foundation to achieve its aims in any way I can.”

Councillor Yeadon joins the other 11 strong Trustees who help Leeds Rugby Foundation change lives.
