Leeds Rugby Foundation to benefit from Leeds Rhinos Voices!

Leeds Rhinos star Stevie Ward has captured the legendary Headingley Carnegie atmosphere of a Leeds Rhinos match on a new recording with sales helping Leeds Rugby Foundation change even more lives.

The CD, which comes out next Tuesday priced at £5.99, features 24 tracks and includes many of the favourite songs that can be heard on a Rhinos match night plus some special recordings exclusive to the CD. Ward joins up with Rob Burrow and Ryan Hall for a special version of Freelove Highway, as performed by David Brent in The Office plus Lionel 'Richie' Moore gives his unique take on the classic 'Hello' and there is a new record in tribute to our one and only Ronnie the Rhino.

Sales of the CD will also raise funds for the Lymphoma Association as well as Leeds Rugby Foundation.

Commenting on the production, Ward said:

"It has been a great experience and now I can't wait for the CD to be available in the shops for fans to buy. The idea came from my mate Dom Smith, who is studying music production at university in York. I had plenty of time on my hands last year because of a season ending injury and this was something to take my mind off the frustrations of not being able to play. We have had tremendous support from everyone to get the project finished especially our sponsors at Eden IT & Telecommunications and O'Hara & Co. Leeds Rugby Foundation and The Lymphoma Association both do a fantastic job so it will also be nice to be able to make a contribution to them as well."

Ward will be in the Leeds Rugby club shop on Thursday 12th December between 6pm and 8pm to sign copies of the CD for fans looking for a great gift idea for Christmas.
