The deadline to purchase tickets for Leeds Rugby Foundation’s Annual Celebration Dinner, kindly supported by Gibbs & Dandy, is now just 2 days away.
This year's celebration takes place on Saturday September 6th 2014, in the Long Bar of the Headingley Carnegie Stadium.
Now in its 8th year, the dinner is an excellent way to unite all constituents of the Leeds rugby league family to share and celebrate our achievements together. The evening is a great way to make new relationships as well as catching up with old friends from across the sport.
Leeds Rugby Foundation (LRF) are to honour rugby league played throughout Leeds in 2013 and 2014 with many awards set to be handed out to worthy winners including the prestigious John Holmes Award sponsored by Berry's Jewellers. The award recognises an individual who has gone over and above the call of duty to make an exceptional contribution to their organisation.
The evening will also include the following:
· A Q&A session with Brian McDermott and first team players.
· Attendance of stars from the past.
· Live Entertainment.
· Presentation of the Leeds Rugby Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award.
· Recognition of the City's achievements from all organisations within Rugby League.
On top of that, present will be representatives from the whole constituency of the Leeds rugby league family including; Rhinos 1st Team Players & Coaching Staff; Ex Players Association, Community Clubs, Supporter Branches, Ambassador Schools, The Referees Association, LRF Sponsors, LRF Vice Presidents Trustees & Patrons as well as LRF Community Staff.
The Leeds Rugby League Heritage Group are once again organising a display of Rugby League history and there will also be a raffle on the night in aid of Leeds Rugby Foundation with all proceeds going to support the Foundation's Rugby League Development Plan for Leeds, sponsored by partners Mears.
The bar will open at 6:15pm with the dinner at 7:15pm. Tickets cost just £26.00 per person. There is also the opportunity to book tables for parties of ten to fourteen.
