Watch a smash-it Rugby League play at Headingley Carnegie Stadium

Both events are to celebrate 150 years or rugby in Leeds

To celebrate further the 150th Year Anniversary of Rugby in Leeds, Leeds Rugby Foundation have teamed up with Red Ladder Theatre Group to host a unique ‘Playing the Joker’ play.

Following the Leeds Rhinos vs Wigan Warriors match on Saturday 3rd May, LRF will host a highly acclaimed short play by award winning author Anthony Clavane about Eddie Waring, Rugby League and Yorkshire. The play which takes place in the Premier Suite at Headingley Carnegie Stadium is full of songs, dance and gripping drama and we want YOU to join us!

'Playing the Joker' Itinerary:

6.30pm:- Pre-performance drinks in the Headingley Pavilion Premier Suite
7.15pm:- Playing the Joker Performance begins
8.30pm:- Two course Dinner in the Executive Suite
9.30pm:- Q&A with the actors, Rhinos personalities and other dignitaries who knew Eddie Waring

Tickets for the show and dinner cost £45 with all proceeds from 'Playing the Joker' event going towards Leeds Rugby Foundation's Rugby League Development Plan for Leeds and North Yorkshire.
