Tryzone Launch New Work Club In Headingley To Help Jobseekers

A new Work Club, where jobseekers can get advice and support on finding work has been launched in Headingley, Leeds thanks to Tryzone and Leeds Rugby Foundation!

The Work Club will give people in and around Headingley the chance to meet others looking for work, build new contacts, share job hunting experiences and get advice on interview techniques, CVs and volunteering opportunities.

The scheme is run in conjunction with the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) across Leeds and Jaci Hawkins who heads up the scheme on behalf of Tryzone commented: “Research shows that the best way to find another job is through friends, family or social networks, which is why it is so vital to have a Work Club in this area. During the sessions, we will help people to look and apply for work, give guidance on how to prepare for interviews and give jobseekers the opportunity to take part in mock interviews.”

The Work Club meets every Wednesday at TryZone based at Headingley Carnegie Stadium from 1.00pm until 3.30pm.

If you would like to find out more information about the Headingley Work Club or find out how you or your company could get involved in it, please contact Jaci Hawkins on 07817 018603 or e-mail at jaci.hawkins@leedsrugbyfoundation.org
