Join Sport Leeds partners for online event supporting a safe return to play

Sport Leeds will host an online discussion entitled ‘Making Sport Happen in a Covid Environment’ to help clubs with making a safe return to play during the ongoing pandemic.

The return of sport is an exciting moment for many across the city of Leeds. Sport is essential to lots of people as their exercise of choice and with that they gain multiple physical, mental and social benefits from playing sport.

Current guidelines are proving a challenge to many clubs and groups in their bid to return to play and this discussion will aim to find out how Sport Leeds and its partners organisations can support those in need.

A panel of guest speakers from sporting bodies across Leeds will be on hand to discuss a number of key issues, including accessing facilities, safety awareness and financial advice. This will be followed by a Q and A session, where participants can put forward their questions to the panel on how to make sport happen under the current guidelines and restrictions.

This free online event will take place via Zoom on Monday 5th October, 6:30pm-8pm.
