Sign up for the 2023 Run with the Rhinos team

Registration is now open to join the Run with the Rhinos 2023 team for the Leeds 10k, which takes place on Sunday 18th June.

The annual run is the flagship fundraising event to support Leeds Rhinos Foundation and its work to support communities and individuals in Leeds.

This is the 16th year the charity has entered the Run For All Leeds 10K and each year, hundreds of runners come together to raise vital funds to support the work the charity delvers in the city.

Representatives from Leeds Rhinos men’s, women’s, physical disability, learning disability and netball teams, along with club and Leeds Rhinos Foundation staff will all be taking part and fans are encouraged to join and can either run or walk the 10k.

Leeds Rhinos Head Coach Rohan Smith has pledged his support to the club’s official charity by signing up to take on the 10k and will be joined by Rhinos legend and Leeds Rhinos Foundation Trustee Jamie Jones-Buchanan.

A £29 donation secures a place as a participant in the 2023 RWTR team, plus:

· Entry to the Run For All Leeds 10K.

· Special edition 2023 Run With The Rhinos race top.

· Invitation to a pre-race event at Headingley with advice from Leeds Rhinos experts.

· Invitation to a post-race celebration event.

· Fundraising incentives.

Bob Bowman, Leeds Rhinos Foundation’s CEO, said: “Run with the Rhinos is one of the highlights of our yearly calendar. It brings together all sections of our charity including trustees, staff, our supporters as well as the people who benefit from our projects.

“Not only is our charity committed to supporting the development of the game with our work in schools and clubs but the scope of our delivery now reaches much further, with some life changing projects across our community.  The In Touch support group helps those living with dementia and the Offload mental fitness project is having a huge impact.

“The Boost physical activity programme is helping adults kick start and maintain healthier lifestyles and the ground-breaking Tackle It programme continues to provide support for survivors of domestic abuse alongside education courses to help lower re-offending rates. We are also now proud to be running Leeds Rhinos Learning Disability, Physical Disability and Wheelchair teams and money raised will mean we can continue to support them and help people live out their sporting dreams.”
