Rhinos Development Academy handed home tie in Quarter Finals of College Cup

Leeds Rhinos Development Academy will host Wigan Warriors Development Academy or York College Knights in the Quarter Finals of the College RL Cup on Wednesday 2nd February.

The two sides play their Round of 16 tie this week, with the winner travelling to take on Harvey Whiteley’s men at Leeds Rugby Academy in Kirkstall for a place in the final four of the competition.

It will be the Rhinos third game in the competition this season, having booked their place in the Quarter Finals with victories over Hull FC Development Academy ‘A’ and then Premier Division outfit Huddersfield Giants Development Academy last week.

Both of their potential QF opponents play their trade in the Yorkshire Division 1 College League, which is one level below the Championship in which the Rhinos currently compete.

A kick off time will be confirmed in due course, when the exact opponent is known, but spectators will be welcome to attend the fixture with free entry for all.
