PIMS LTD Commit To Second Year of LRF Rugby League Development Plan

Leeds Rugby Foundation (LRF) are proud to announce that partner Pims Ltd, a heating, rewire and full house refurbishment specialist company based in Leeds, have once again thrown their weight behind the LRF’s flagship three year Rugby League Development Plan for Leeds.

The Development Plan was launched over a year ago with the ambitious aim to give every youngster in Leeds the opportunity to play Rugby League and attend a Leeds Rhinos or Hunslet Hawks game. Heritage and Coach Education also feature heavily and the Foundation now has a staff of 13 full time Schools and Community Coaches, led by Leeds Rugby League Development Manager, Leon Crick.

Pims Ltd already have the LRF’s charitable logo placed on their engineering and maintenance company's fleet of vehicles and they have now shown further support by backing the plan for a second year.

Colin Smith, Managing Director of PIMS Ltd commented: “PIMS are delighted and honoured to be associated with such a fantastic cause. Having now had a year to look at what has been achieved and the help the local community has received, it was a very easy decision to agree to help LRF again this year. You only have to see the work the Foundation representatives put in on a day to day basis, to see why they are so successful. They truly challenge the Rhinos first team in terms of their genuine hard working efforts.”

Leeds Rugby Foundation’s Partnership Manager Davide Longo commented: “PIMS are a local company with similar values to LRF. They have a passion and desire to improve communities in and around Leeds. Their further commitment to LRF, particularly within the Rugby League Development Plan, will ensure that children and young people increase their opportunities to participate or become involved within our wonderful game.”
