ONE WEEK TO GO UNTIL TUESDAY TOUCH RUGBY RETURNS

Touch Rugby returns

Next Tuesday, 11th June will see the return of the highly popular Leeds Rhinos Touch Rugby programme and with the weather turning for the better, it is an ideal time to get involved and join the fun!

The programme, delivered by the Leeds Rugby Foundation, runs every Tuesday evening throughout the summer at the Leeds Rugby Academy, Kirkstall, (LS5 3BW) from 7pm until 9pm with players aged 14 and over able to turn up and play on the day for just £3.50 per week.

Touch Rugby is a fantastic activity to keep fit, meet new people and most importantly have fun! Not to mention, you will step foot on the Leeds Rhinos training pitch that stars such as Kevin Sinfield, Rob Burrow and Jamie Peacock have all graced.

Leeds Rugby Foundation Club Development Officer, Sam Horner said: "Touch Rugby has been gone from strength to strength over the last four years. I would like to thank all who have supported it over those years to make it a great event and programme.

“We at the Leeds Rugby Foundation take pride in the programme because it is inclusive to all genders, abilities and the mixture of age groups from 14 to 70 makes it a fantastic programme for all,” he continued.

“After the break from Winter Touch we are now all looking forward to the summer programme and I am sure the weeks ahead will be enjoyable for both staff and all participants as it has been in previous years.”
