One more place remaining in once in a life-time Yorkshire Marathon Experience with Leeds Rhinos!

Rhinos' Head Coach

Did you miss your chance to sign up to this year’s iconic Plusnet Yorkshire Marathon? Do you want to follow up your success in the recent Run with the Rhinos?

Do you want to spend a morning watching a Leeds Rhinos training session, chat with first team players, coaches and conditioners at the Leeds Rugby Academy as well as being personally presented with your own unique running shirt by Head Coach Brian McDermott?

Well the Leeds Rugby Foundation (LRF) and the Leeds Rhinos could be the answer!

As the official charity of Leeds Rhinos, LRF have one more place remaining for this prestigious event which will take place on Sunday 12th October 2014. LRF are seeking for runners to take up the challenge and run alongside Rhinos legends Keith Senior and Barrie McDermott, but that is not all…..

LRF plan to 'assign' each of the lucky 13 members to a Leeds Rhinos first team player which will see each runner presented with a unique running shirt by their assigned Rhinos star as well as Head Coach Brian McDermott. You will also receive regular messages of support from YOUR player as your training progresses!

If that is not enough, the runner who raises the most money will spend a once in a lifetime Leeds Rhinos experience watching a training session with the first team players and they will also have the chance to chat to the coaches and conditioners at the Leeds Rugby Academy.

All LRF ask is that a minimum of £500 in sponsorship is raised per runner and in return you will receive the following further exclusive benefits:

– Guaranteed entry to the Leeds Half Marathon on Sunday 11th May 2014 to help with the training.
– Pre-marathon pasta party with Rhinos first team players in attendance and motivational speeches from Barrie McDermott and Keith Senior.
– Exclusive running top, photo and certificate presented by a first team player and Head Coach Brian McDermott at the Leeds Rugby Academy prior to the race.
– Celebration event post-race.
– There are also special prizes for those runners who raise £750 or more for Leeds Rugby Foundation.

Leeds Rugby Foundation works with some of the most disadvantaged and socially excluded young people in the city of Leeds. Not only will runners help LRF raise valuable funds for us to continue our work in the city, but you will have one final exclusive benefit of being able to say that you have truly 'Changed Lives through Sport'.
