Make small, healthier changes in 2023 with Try Club

Last week saw the launch of the first Try Club session for 2023 in partnership with Leeds Rhinos Foundation and Public Health Leeds.

Ready for a healthier 2023?

Try Club is a FREE 12-week weight management programme, consisting of both classroom and pitch-based activities, run with the aim of educating, motivating and supporting the people of Leeds to make and maintain healthier choices.

The programme is run by our very own qualified health expert, Amy Livingstone, who will give you practical advice and personalised support throughout your time on the programme. With both classroom and pitch-based activities, you will be guided through by our professionals to ensure that the course is tailored to you and your needs.

If you join Try Club you can expect:

  • 1.5 hours of delivery per week, split between classroom and pitch
  • A weekly focus on a specific aspect of nutrition or behaviour change
  • Fun physical activity taster sessions and team games
  • Free resources and support from trained Leeds Rhinos Foundation health experts throughout

So far, Try Club has supported 233 people in Leeds to lead healthier lifestyles, from sign up, right through to our follow-up support.

It is not too late to sign up for this programme and as we enter the new year, now is the time to start making small changes that will have a large impact on your health.

All sessions are absolutely FREE to join, designed to be fun and interactive, whilst being tailored to your needs and accessible to those over the age of 18, of all genders!
