LRF TV: Teacher Touch unearths some talent

Leeds Rugby Foundation hosted a Teacher Touch festival at Leeds Rugby Academy as a thank you to the teachers themselves for all their support within School Rugby over the past year.

A total of nine schools from across the city came together for the one-off festival with a team from Priesthorpe School the eventual winners following a high-standard, yet fun-filled festival.

Russell Parker, School Ambassador Manager commented: "Lee Parkin at John Smeaton Academy has organised this event in the past few years, so thanks must go to him for his continued support."

"This sort of festival is a little thanks to the schools and teachers for their continued support with Leeds Rugby Foundation. It also gives the chance for the schools to form partnerships and relationships with one another moving forward onto next year."

"The standard during the festival was great and infact, our performance department should have been there to do a bit of scouting! I was very impressed!"
