Rhinos Challenge is a unique Rugby League experience that is supported by Leeds Rhinos and staged at Butlins award winning result in Skegness. Next year's 9's event for U8-U14 teams will run from Friday 16th to Monday 19th May 2014 with festival matches played on Saturday 17 & Sunday 18 May.
It is hoped over 44 teams and over 1500 people from all over the country will join us for the second Rhinos Challenge in 2014.
The Rhinos Challenge is a professionally organised 9's festival, that brings U8 – U14 teams from all over the UK together for a fantastic tour experience. Every aspect of the game, its safety and ethos will be upheld to the highest standards and the festival will be organised in accordance with the regulations and guidelines of the RFL.
Butlins superb multi award winning holiday resort in Skegness on the Lincolnshire coastline will play host to touring teams at the Rhinos Challenge. The resort has been specifcally selected by ESF Events and Leeds Rhinos to stage the festival as it offers a safe secure environment with a fantastic range of leisure facilities, superb evening entertainment packages and a great range of quality accommodation. Whatever the result on the pitch, your club are sure to have a fantastic experience on tour together.
Our spectacular celebrity presentation ceremony is the highlight of the rugby tour for many of our teams. Butlins add the razzamataz with dramatic sound and lighting effects and we top it off with top celebrities and quality awards for every player – it's the perfect way to end the Festival and is a night to remember for everyone involved. Keith Senior, Ben Jones Bishop, Stevie Ward and Ronnie the Rhino all joined us at the 2013 presentation!
