LRF TV: Rhinos Challenge a huge success!

Leeds Rugby Foundation, Leeds Rhinos and ESF Events all teamed up to deliver a hugely successful and unique Rugby League experience, staged at Butlins award winning result in Skegness named Rhinos Challenge.

‘The Rhinos Challenge’ saw 47 teams aged from U8s to U14s from all over the country come together for a fantastic tour experience. Over 2000 people were in attendance and every aspect of the game, its safety and ethos, were upheld to the highest standards.

The Butlins resort was specifically selected by ESF Events and Leeds Rhinos to stage the festival as it offers a safe secure environment with a fantastic range of leisure facilities, superb evening entertainment packages and a great range of quality accommodation.

Whatever the result on the pitch, each club had a fantastic experience on tour together. The spectacular celebrity presentation ceremony was the highlight of the rugby tour for many of our teams with Leeds Rhinos legend Keith Senior was joined by current Rhinos and England star Rob Burrow.

Rob Burrow commented: “The weekend was fantastic. I was there with my family enjoying the experience as well as the unique facilities. This is something which I wish was around when I was growing up. The younger they start the better chance they will have to develop into top players so it was great to see so many kids involved and this just further highlights the fantastic work the Leeds Rugby Foundation do in the community.”
