Corpus Christi beat Morley Academy 32-28 in the Leeds and Hunslet School’s Final at Headingley Carnegie Stadium on Thursday.
The Year 7 pupils had the once in a lifetime opportunity to play on the famous Headingley turf
where so many Leeds Rhinos players have graced.
Both teams observed a minute’s silence before the game for Ann Maguire. James Endesby, Corpus Christi head of PE dedicated the success to Ann, he said: “For them to come here today and do so well they have done the school and the community so proud.”
