Limited Time To Join Barrie McDermott On Rugby Union Residential Camp

Barnard Castle

There are only two weeks to go until the Rugby Union Residential Camp kicks off at the unique setting of County Durham meaning parents must act NOW if they want their child to be part of an unforgettable experience.

This year, for the first time, each child will have the chance to meet Leeds Rhinos legend Barrie McDermott who will pass on his rugby knowledge to the attendees of the five-day Rugby Union Camp.

Leeds Rugby Foundation who host the camp at Barnard Castle School, are inviting passionate and ambitious Rugby Union boys aged between 13 and 17, who will receive professional coaching from Newcastle Falcons coaches and players as well as Leeds Rugby Foundation coaching staff and Barrie McDermott!

The 5 day Camp is designed to aid and improve the skills of those already playing the game and give participants a flavour of the elite rugby player routine.

As well as 20 hours of top quality rugby coaching by professional coaches, attendees will also get the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed programme of evening activities including swimming, touch rugby and tennis. All transport, meals and accommodation are included. All participants will also receive branded rugby gear.

The highly popular and unique camp will run from Monday 5th- Friday 9th August and this is the fourth time the camp has been held at the impressive facilities of Barnard Castle School.

A number of players who have attended the Barnard Castle Camp in the past have gone on to take the step into the Leeds Carnegie Academy system.

But this year's residential camp is predicted to be better than ever with the news that Rugby legend and Leeds Rhinos Head of Youth Performance, Barrie McDermott will join the camp for two days.

The price for the 5 day course is just £295 per attendee, but there are limited places available so interested parties are urged to book NOW.
