Leeds Rugby Foundation (LRF) is part-hosting a weekend celebration of events to commemorate the 150 year anniversary of rugby in Leeds as the Rhinos face off against the Wigan Warriors at Headingley Carnegie Stadium on Friday May 2nd before Headingley Carnegie hosts a unique theatre play the following night.

LRF has firstly joined forces with The Rugby Football League to host a unique package which consists of a ticket to the Student RL Reunion Lunch to celebrate the birth of student rugby league at Leeds University in 1969 as well as the Varsity match for the Cec Thompson Cup, a tour of Headingley Carnegie Stadium and a match ticket to Leeds Rhinos Super League encounter against Wigan Warriors.

The Student Rugby League Reunion Lunch, at Headingley Carnegie Stadium, is an opportunity for former student rugby league players and teams to come together once again.
