Leeds Rugby Foundation’s ‘Run with the Rhinos’ team have received a major boost with the news that Rhinos legend Keith Senior is to join the ever-growing list of runners.
‘Run with the Rhinos’ is the official Leeds Rhinos team for the Asda Foundation Leeds 10k which will take place on Sunday July 14th and Senior joins another high-profile Rhinos legend after Barrie McDermott confirmed he is to run in the race for yet another year.
Senior, who is now helping make a difference after a highly successful playing career, as Leeds Rugby Foundation’s Community Development Officer, was delighted to join the ‘Run with the Rhinos team’.
He said: “Having being involved with Leeds Rhinos for so many years I know what great work the Foundation do in the community and that is one of the reasons why I joined the team.
“Run with the Rhinos is another fantastic event. I’m really excited about the race and since I’ve had plenty of practice running throughout my years, there is a bit of pressure on me to do well!
“It is vital we raise as much money as possible ahead of the race. If you can donate anything towards the Leeds Rugby Foundation it would be fantastic and you would be making a real difference to people’s lives.
