Leeds Rhinos Foundation have teamed up with FORDY RUNS Running Club to bring the local community a free weekly social running group.
Both Leeds Rhinos Foundation and FORDY RUNS Running Club pride themselves on being inclusive and empowering their communities, and this new venture between the two aims to help more people reach their own fitness and health goals.
Through the power of running the new club, which will run from AMT Headingley Rugby Stadium, we will promote health and well-being as well as supporting our members in their training for events like the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon and Leeds 10k.
WEEKLY RUN DETAILS:
- When? Every Wednesday at 6.30pm (22nd November onwards)
- Where? South Stand, AMT Headingley Rugby Stadium
- For who? Everyone! All abilities are welcome and catered for!
- What to bring: A Smile and some suitable footwear
- How much? FREE (yep totally free!)
- Social? Yes, after runners can catch up for a drink and chat
The sessions will be led by qualified coaches from FORDY RUNS, who can help members achieve their own targets, whether that be going from couch to to 5k or training for the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon!
Runners are asked to BOOK on to the session so numbers can be managed on a weekly basis.

FORDY RUNS Running Club is an England Athletics Running Club located all over the UK. They have over 35 local running groups meeting across the Country which are for all ability of runner. The Club operates a twice weekly Virtual run that brings together runners who may not be able to make one of their local groups. They also operate a tailored Trail Running Group that is open for all runners to join. Their sessions are insured and run by qualified leaders and coaches.
