Leeds Rhinos Foundation invites prospective students to Leeds City College Open Event

On Wednesday 6th December, Leeds City College will host their Leeds Connect Academy Open Event for prospective players looking to join our Leeds Rhinos Development Academy Rugby and Netball teams.

This is the perfect opportunity for those interested in joining one of our Development Academy teams to come along, speak to staff members and find out how our dual-pathway programmes can benefit them.

Consistent with the club ethos, our Development Academies prides themselves on cultivating a winning mentality and helping players develop their technical, tactical and physiological skill sets to maximise their progress.

After a successful launch this year, 2024 students have the opportunity to train, play and learn full time at Leeds City College, whilst representing Leeds Rhinos Netball at a post-16 level.

There will also be information surrounding our groundbreaking boys and girls Rugby Development Academies which over the years, have grown in both success and size.

These programmes provide the ‘student athlete’ with the best possible environment to succeed on and off the pitch, with its world-class rugby league and netball coaching provision, alongside a wide variety of qualifications, academic and vocational course options at the College.
