Leeds Rhinos Boys Development Academy to face local rivals in huge Cup Semi Final tie

Leeds Rhinos Boys Development Academy have been handed a trip to take on local rivals New College Pontefract in the Semi-Final of the College National Cup.

The two sides have met twice in the Championship league this season, with Pontefract edging out the Rhinos by one score on both occasions.

It should be another cracker when Harvey Whiteley’s men travel to take on the Titans on Wednesday 9th March, with a place in the showpiece Colleges Cup Final at stake.

In the other Semi-Final tie, the Rhinos’ last opponents Warrington Wolves Development Academy will host Premier Division outfit Hopwood Hall, who booked their place in the last four of the competition with a 68-0 thumping of Yorkshire 1 side Huddersfield New College.

Full details of the Rhinos’ Semi Final clash, including kick off time, will be announced in due course. Follow us on Twitter @RugbyLeeds to keep up to date with all the latest news.
