Leeds Rugby Foundation partnered with Leeds Metropolitan University events group to host a Touch and Pass Varsity with 12 teams taking part from both the University of Leeds and Leeds Metropolitan University.
Sian Hills commented “It was a great afternoon; even though it was cold the rain held off and there was some fast rugby demonstrated”.
One player commented “I haven’t played before and really enjoyed it, I will now be going down to the Tuesday Touch and Pass at Kirkstall”.
Both Mascots attended the event along with Ian Kirke who presented the winning team Hudella Giants with their trophies.
A huge thank you on behalf of Leeds Rugby Foundation must go to the events group who kindly donated a sum of £133.45 from the day’s event.
