Kevin Sinfield visits former club to coach kids on Rhinos Summer Camp

Leeds Rugby Foundation staged their famous Leeds Rhinos camp sponsored by Jet2holidays and Red Hot World Buffet at Waterhead ARLFC last week which gave more than 90 children the chance to meet England captain Kevin Sinfield.

Leeds Rhinos star Kevin Sinfield provided one of the event’s main attractions, returning to his former amateur club to help out with the coaching and sign autographs.

The camp at Waterhead ARLFC follows a hugely successful experience in Paderborn which saw Foundation coaches change the young lives of the children who live on the army base in Germany.

The Rhinos now look ahead to 2-day camps at Dewsbury Celtic ARLFC and Doncaster Toll Bar ARLFC next week. Make sure you book your child's place on one of the following camps. All the details are below.

Date: Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th August

Time: 9am – 3pm

Venue: Dewsbury Celtic ARLFC, Dewsbury INLC, Park Parade, Westtown, Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, WF13 2QJ.

Price: £30 (£15 per day)



* Jet2holidays and Leeds Rhinos Camp – Doncaster Toll Bar

Date: Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st August

Time: 9am – 3pm

Venue: Doncaster Toll Bar ARLFC, Prospect Road, Toll Bar, Doncaster, DN5 0QP.

Price: £30 (£15 per day)

This fun-packed 2 day course for 6-14 year olds runs from 9am-3pm is priced at just £30 per camp (or £15 per day).

All camps give the children the chance to spend a week with Leeds Rhinos professional coaches, have the opportunity to meet Leeds Rhinos first team players and Ronnie the Rhino, receive a Leeds Rhinos camp T-shirt and water bottle.

Attendees will also get the chance to receive 20% off food at partners Red Hot World Buffet. They will also have an opportunity to participate in a match day pitch parade at the Leeds Rhinos v St Helens match on Friday 29th August at Headingley Carnegie Stadium.

Participating children will get access to the game and their friends and family will get access to a special discount ticket rate.
