Keith Senior joins the team at Leeds Rugby Foundation

Former Leeds Rhinos and Great Britain centre Keith Senior has joined Leeds Rugby Foundation, Leeds Rugby’s official charity, as a community development officer.

Senior will help to deliver the newly created 3-Year Rugby League Development Plan with a focus on Further Education.  He will also act as a brand ambassador for the charity and provide inspirational talks about the valuable work Leeds Rugby Foundation deliver in the local community.

Keith Senior commented on his new role, “After a highly successful career in Rugby League, I’m now looking forward to passing on my knowledge and experience to youngsters who are keen to play Rugby League and help develop their skills.  I’m also eager to help with the many projects that the Foundation deliver around Leeds helping disadvantaged young people and families.  This is an area that I’m unfamiliar with, but with the Foundation team behind me I hope I can make difference to people’s lives.”

Lucy Young, Chief Executive of Leeds Rugby Foundation said, “We are thrilled that a high profile Rugby League star has joined us at the charity to help deliver our projects.  Keith is an inspiration to so many people and his involvement will allow us to engage with even more individuals in the community and will inspire youngsters who are struggling with their lives or who just want to develop their rugby skills further.”

Keep an eye out, as Keith has been coaching in many schools and clubs in the Leeds area already and you will hopefully see him near you soon.
