A new vacancy has arisen to join a growing and inspirational foundation that focuses on the development of sport within the Leeds District. The position will involve working in primary schools within the Leeds District, whilst building a relationship with the schools that you work in. You will work closely with the current senior management team at the Leeds Rugby Foundation, ensuring that the schools you are responsible for become an integral part of Leeds Rugby Foundations traded services model
The successful applicant will be responsible for leading and delivering physical activity in primary schools whilst ensuring all activities are linked into local community clubs. The successful candidate will ensure partnerships are delivered and developed in line with the service level agreement between school and foundation.
A passion for sport and community development is essential for this role as well as knowledge of the current educational landscape. A demonstrable background of working within a primary school setting and the ability to build relationships across a range of organisations and individuals is essential. Knowledge of Sport and education would be advantageous and the ability to manage multiple projects with conflicting deadlines will be a necessity.
This is a full time role, which will be based at Leeds Rugby Foundation, Leeds Rugby Academy, Bridge Road, Clarence Fields, Kirkstall, Leeds, LS5 3BW and also in the community in the South Leeds area. The salary for the role is dependent on your skills, experience and current qualifications.
