Leeds Rhinos Foundation are inviting all girls in Years 7-9 to join them for two upcoming Sky Try Rugby League taster sessions at local community clubs.
The free taster sessions, which will be hosted by East Leeds Girls and Whinmoor Warriors Girls, will provide coaching on some fundamental rugby league skills and fun games which provide an introduction to the sport in a safe and welcoming environment.
As part of the session, new players will also get to meet experienced club coaches to ask any questions and explore the option of joining the club for the upcoming season.
The popularity of Women’s and Girls’ Rugby League is now at an all-time high with the number of women and girls playing community Rugby League increasing by 53% since 2017.
