Rugby League Development Manager, Darren Higgins, said: “The community club coaching coordinator scheme aims to support coaches working with junior and youth players in the club setting by providing an identified support and mentoring system that provides support around ethos, planning and session delivery.

As a foundation we run a comprehensive programme including delivery of level one and two courses, coaching workshops, pathway opportunities through our Rhinos Talent Pathway and North V South programmes plus outreach CPD support in club settings.

This programme adds further value and support to our coach development offer and will see club coaching coordinators access bespoke support from Leeds Rhinos Foundation with the aim of cascading key messages and good practice into community clubs and most importantly provide ongoing support to local coaches within their clubs.”
