Exciting Developments Within Leeds Rugby Foundation

LRF set to appoint ‘Young Trustees’

At the Leeds Rugby Foundation one of our main goals is to change the lives of people through sport and we wouldn't be able to do so without the dedication and support of our volunteers and trustees. We are lucky to work with a range of amazing, committed and talented young people who support us and volunteer their time on a weekly basis. Therefore, on the 4th February we are officially launching 'Young Trustees at Leeds Rugby Foundation' with an event at the Tryzone Centre at the Headingley Carnegie Stadium.

This initiative will allow a selection of young people who have worked with us, to become 'Young Trustees' to help us further promote and represent LRF out in the community. They will sign a year-long contract, attend regular trustee meetings, support LRF events and help us with fundraising.

Education Programme Manager, Nigel Wood commented: “This is an exciting development within the Leeds Rugby Foundation. We hope that this initiative will allow our young volunteers to get more involved with the LRF and have more of a say in the way our events are run.”
