England Women to hold open training session for fans this October

England Women will be taking part in an open training session for fans at Weetwood Sports Park in Leeds on Thursday 31 October, during half-term week for Yorkshire schools.

The free event is open to all local Community Club’s and promises to be a fun afternoon out, giving supporters the chance to watch Head Coach Stuart Barrow put the players through their paces as England Women prepare to face Wales at AMT Headingley on Saturday 2 November (KO 12pm.)

The training session is expected to last approximately one hour from 2-3pm, with an Oxen merchandise van also on site for anyone wanting to get their hands on the latest England kit.

This one-of-a-kind opportunity will give young fans a chance to rub shoulders with the likes of St Helens and England captain Jodie Cunningham and Leeds Rhinos’ duo Amy Hardcastle and Keara Bennett with a photo and autograph opportunity available at the end of the session.

Clubs can register their interest in attending by contacting Bronwen.Jones@rlcommercial.co.uk – the deadline for applications is 5pm on Monday 28 October.

Further detail will be communicated to those who register interest via email in due course – we look forward to welcoming supporters to Weetwood for this special event!

And just two days later, England Women will play Wales (2 November, KO 12noon) in a double header with the second England v Samoa match (KO 2.30pm) with tickets on sale now.
