CHAMPIONS HELP LAUNCH NEW COMMUNITY PARTNER FOR LEEDS RUGBY FOUNDATION

Leeds Rugby Foundation Trustee Jamie Jones-Buchanan

Super League Champions Leeds Rhinos have helped launch a new partnership between the Leeds Rugby Foundation and local company PIMS Ltd, a heating, rewire and full house refurbishment specialist company, that will see the charitable foundation’s logo placed on the engineering and maintenance company’s entire fleet of vehicles around the city.

Leeds Rugby Foundation Trustee Jamie Jones-Buchanan, alongside Rhinos stars Kylie Leuluai and Joel Moon were all on hand to check out the first wave of vehicles as they visited the Rhinos home at Headingley Carnegie Stadium.

England international Jones-Buchanan, who is also a trustee of the Leeds Rugby Foundation, commented:
“This is tremendous support by PIMS Ltd and a great way of raising the profile of the Foundation. The Leeds Rugby Foundation help to change lives through sport but we need the support of local companies and businesses to enable us to do this.

“As well as being proud of their association with the Leeds Rugby Foundation by including the logo on their fleet of vehicles, PIMS are also big supporters of the three year plan for Rugby League in the city of Leeds,” continued Jones-Buchanan.

“They are working with us to deliver our new Keith Senior High School assembly programme, offering work guidance and advice to students on career paths and are providing work placements to Academy and Scholarship players in our junior ranks to give them a taste of working life should they not make the grade as a professional player.”
