The Champion Schools local stage festivals continue with the Year 7 boys from the West and North and Central partnerships completed last week seeing Leeds West Academy and Roundhay triumph in the final.
Boys Year 7: Leeds West Partnership

Priesthorpe School narrowly missed out in progressing to the next round of the Champion Schools competition after two tight fixtures against Leeds West Academy and Crawshaw. Leeds West Academy took the honours on the night, topping the group after a well-earned 1 – 0 win against a competitive Crawshaw team.

Roundhay School (pictured) topped the group in the Leeds North and Central partnership after going unbeaten in the Year 7 matches. Roundhay, showing a great deal of attacking prowess qualified to the next round along with an equally adapt Lawnswood team.
All teams that have progressed will compete in the Finals Day at the Leeds Rugby Academy, Kirkstall, Thursday 16th October, kicking off at 3.30pm.
