Book now for Girls’ RTP Player Development Day during October half term

Leeds Rhinos Foundation is pleased to announce they have added a Girls’ Player Development Day to their busy programme of Rhinos Talent Pathway events taking place during October half term.

This will take place on Friday 28th October at the Bartercard Leeds Rhinos Training Complex in Kirkstall and offers a fantastic opportunity for Girls of all levels of rugby league experience aged 9-16 to receive first class coaching free of charge from the Leeds Rhinos Women’s first team management, players and pathway coaches.

There has been significant growth throughout the Women & Girls’ game during the past few years, and Leeds Rhinos Foundation is committed to maintaining this momentum by making the sport as accessible as possible and providing the best possible learning environment for aspiring players to enhance their skills.

Player Development Days consist of two hours activity focusing on the development of essential rugby league skills, whilst supporting participants with their technical, tactical, physical and mental development. The content of the sessions provides players with the perfect balance of challenge and insight into the contemporary coaching practices used within the Rhinos Talent Pathway to maximise their potential and help them perform at their best.

Attendees are asked to bring a water bottle and trainers or moulded boots for the 4G surface (no metal studs please) and make a suggested £1 donation on arrival which goes  towards the work of Leeds Rhinos Foundation to support the development of Rugby League in Leeds and surrounding areas.

There are limited spaces available for each session which will be capped at 80 players each, therefore please make sure to book on early to avoid any disappointment.
