Bell and MacDonald pass on tips to kids

Leeds Carnegie community manager Adam Blades made his tenth visit to Queen Ethelburgas college yesterday as part of the unique partnership with the school.

The weekly visits has been taken by Adam to assist in the rugby delivery at the school, with the aim of complimenting the existing rugby delivery at the school by sports teachers including Carnegie old boy Rob Rawlinson.
Each week Adam has taken 2/3 players with him to lead on various sessions at the college and specific skill sessions such as a scrum half clinic with Craig Hampson and this week the players were treated to a kicking clinic with Leeds Carnegie's kicker Tommy Bell. Also taken along for the ride was World Cup star Mike McDonald.

The 65 time capped front rower worked with Adam specifically with the forwards looking at the breakdown specifically and also taking time to talk to the players about his World Cup experience. The players received fantastic feedback from the school who are already looking forward to next weeks visit from Adan and the Leeds players
