Triple Fundraiser for Foundation Trustee

Run with the Rhinos

Leeds Rugby Foundation trustee Bob Bowman will be teaming up with Premier Suite member Pete Evans, managing director of Altum V Ltd, to take part in a two week trek in the Cuban wilderness in November 2012 in an effort to raise funds for the Foundation and the Jane Tomlinson appeal.

Pete – a long time admirer of the work undertaken by the Foundation, not least with their recent Outward Bound project – has previously completed the Inca Trail in Peru and is now ready for his next challenge.

The Cuban trek will be the final leg of three events Bob is targeting to raise money in Olympic year for the Foundation and to commemorate the legacy of Jane Tomlinson’s immense charity work in the city.

“Prior to the Cuba trek I will once again be doing the Run with the Rhinos (scheduled for July 2012)” Bob explained. “Our aim is to see a lot more fans pounding the 10k course and we have some great ideas to encourage as many people as possible to take part next year. We want to emphasise the fun aspect as much as the run and the camaraderie of being part of it.”

“I am so impressed with Pete and his desire to take on the Cuba trek for two great causes. When he asked me to join him I was delighted".
