Set yourself a challenge and Run with the Rhinos in 2020

On Sunday 5th July, 2020, thousands of runners will take part in the annual Run for All Leeds 10k and Leeds Rhinos Foundation is encouraging more people than ever before to take on the running challenge as part of the Run with the Rhinos team.

Last year, a record 167 runners and walkers joined staff, supporters and a host of Rhinos legends including Barrie McDermott, Jamie Peacock and Chev Walker to compete in the 10k and raised over £11,500 for our charity, which has helped fund vital projects that support some of the city’s most vulnerable people.

This year, all funds raised will be split between Leeds Rhinos Foundation and the Rob Burrow Fund, which has been set up to support the former Rhinos star and his young family following his recent Motor Neurone Disease (MND) diagnosis.

Ben Berry, Run with the Rhinos co-ordinator said: “As we start the New Year this is a great time for people to set health targets and take on new challenges, so if you’re looking for inspiration why not join the Run with the Rhinos team?

“We will be offering support as people prepare for the race and we will be joined by some Rhinos legends in our team too, with Kevin Sinfield, Jamie Peacock and Barrie McDermott already confirmed!

“The Leeds 10k is a fantastic event and is suitable for everyone, from experienced runners to beginners and we even have a walking team, so we would love to inspire as many of the club’s supporters to join our team and to raise money for their official charity and a club legend at this time of need.”

Run With The Rhinos 2020 takes place at the Run For All Leeds 10k on 5th July. Entry is £27 and all runners will receive a race T-shirt and invite to an exclusive post-race party.
